For more coverage of UFC 104, go to lasvegassun.com/fighting.

Here are few things to take from UFC 104 on Saturday night:

LetÕs do it again

ThereÕs more than a good chance UFC fans will see a rematch of the fighters in the main event three to four months from now. Many believed Mauricio ÒShogunÓ Rua won Saturday, but judges handed a unanimous decision to Lyoto Machida instead. UFC President Dana White immediately talked to both fighters following the show and said that both were open to a rematch.

Barry lucky

Heavyweight Pat BarryÕs emotional outburst after TKOing Antoni Hardunk in the second round was one of SaturdayÕs more memorable moments. ItÕs likely that Barry will remember it even more than the fans, as the win earned him ÒFight of the NightÓ and ÒKnockout of the NightÓ bonuses of $60,000 each.

Where the stars come out

Las Vegas UFC fights arenÕt necessarily void of celebrity presence, but itÕs hard to compete with Los Angeles in that regard. Stars in the stands Saturday included: Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Wilmer Valderrama, Chris Tucker, Scott Caan, Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas, Janet Jackson, Jeremy Piven, Jerry Ferrara, Michael Strahan and a number of contestants from this yearÕs season of ÒDancing With the Stars.Ó

Packed house

There were doubts that Staples Center would fill up by the end of Saturday night considering how many tickets White had given away and how many open seats there were to start the night. By the time of the main event, UFC 104 had a sold-out attendance of more than 16,000 and drew a $1.9 million gate.

Brett Okamoto can be reached at 948-7817 or at brett.okamoto@lasvegassun.com.
