Hopkins hopes win over Orneles will lead to Jones rematch

<div><p>Former world champion Bernard Hopkins will battle Enrique Orneles in a light heavyweight bout in December that Hopkins hopes will serve as a tune-up for a rematch with Roy Jones.</p><p>Hopkins and Orneles are slated to fight December 2 at The Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, matchmaker Golden Boy Promotions Inc. announced on Friday.</p><p>The 40-year-old Jones (54-5, 40 KOs) is also scheduled to fight in December against International Boxing Organization cruiserweight champ Danny Green.</p><p>Hopkins has been looking for a rematch with Jones since 1993 when Jones beat Hopkins in a unanimous decision for the middleweight crown.</p><p>The 45-year-old Hopkins (49-5-1, 32 KOs) rebounded from that loss to win the middleweight title which he held for 10 years.</p><img src="http://admatch-syndication.mochila.com/images/ad.gif?aid=60856208&bid=informcom" /></div><div id="copyright"><div>
