Celtics ink Davis to new contract

<div><p>The Boston Celtics inked forward Glen "Big Baby" Davis to a new contract on Monday worth a reported 6.3 million dollars.</p><p>Davis, 23, had been a restricted free agent. He averaged 7.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in 76 regular-season games last season, but increased those totals to 15.8 and 5.6 in 14 postseason contests.</p><p>"Glen has been a big part of our success for the past two years, and we are very excited to have him back," said team president of basketball operations Danny Ainge.</p><p>Terms of the contract were not disclosed by the team, but The Boston Globe reported the deal was for two years and worth 6.3 million dollars.</p><img src="http://admatch-syndication.mochila.com/images/ad.gif?aid=56494180&bid=informcom" /></div><div id="copyright"><div>
